About ActiveSG Farrer Park Tennis Centre

ActiveSG Farrer Park Tennis Centre is a public tennis facility in central Singapore, managed by ActiveSG of Sport Singapore. There are 8 outdoor tennis courts and 2 outdoor tennis walls to practise on, available for booking from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. daily. You may book the ActiveSG Farrer Park tennis courts here.

The courts are well maintained and well lit, and they are very popular and heavily booked, so users are advised to book two weeks in advance when the tennis court booking window opens. The Singapore Tennis Association also conducts group tennis lessons for juniors at these courts.

Our TAG International Tennis Academy’s tennis coaches conduct private tennis lessons for kids and adults at the Farrer Park Tennis Centre. The private tennis lesson price is between $115/hr to $135/hr.   • Coach XT (Tan Xu Teng) – founder of TAG International Tennis Academy. Career-high ITF Men’s 35+ world #56, Singapore’s #1 ranked men’s doubles player in August 2018, Singapore Open champion in 2019 and bronze medallist in men’s singles at the 2004 ASEAN University Games. PTR Full Professional (elite juniors 11-17), AustralAsian Academy of Tennis Coaches Level 2, NROC-registered through CoachSG and MOE-accredited. Parking, Food and Facilities at Farrer Park

There is plentiful car parking at the public tennis courts, and the site also has a swimming complex and a stadium with a running track for you to enjoy after your tennis game. City Square Mall and United Square are not far, just a bus ride away.

Tennis balls are not provided at the centre, so bring your own for social play; TAG coaches supply balls for lessons. The water fountain is outside the tennis courts, so you are advised to bring your own water bottle. Male and female washrooms are available just outside the courts.

If Farrer Park is fully booked, TAG coaches at several other courts in and around the city centre: Novena, Orchard, Novotel Singapore on Stevens, ActiveSG Kallang, ActiveSG St Wilfred, ActiveSG Burghley and ActiveSG MOE Evans Road. For play out of the sun and rain, TAG manages Winchester Tennis Arena, Singapore’s only public indoor tennis courts.
