TAG International Tennis Academy runs the best junior group tennis lessons for children in Singapore at Chinese Swimming Club (CSC) along Amber Road in Marine Parade. Chinese Swimming Club’s group tennis lessons and group tennis programs is led by the club’s resident Head Coach of TAG International Tennis Academy, Coach Rocky Paglalunan, former number 7 ranked player in the Philippines and a Singapore Open Men’s Singles Champion. TAG Coach Rocky Paglalunan leads the team of TAG coaches, including Coach Michael Mantua, Coach Peter Egos, Coach Ray Evan and Coach Dave Regencia to conduct the lessons at Chinese Swimming Club. 

The experienced and professional TAG Tennis Academy team will deliver a comprehensive suite of group tennis lessons that have been well regarded as one of the best group tennis programs in Singapore to the members and guests. 

The Chinese Swimming Club is an family club that renowned for nurturing top national sportsmen. The beautiful club offers a well-rounded family recreation activities with plentiful car parking, good food and beverage option like Man Zhu Restaurant, and the three beautiful tennis courts on the rooftop of its Sports Complex. 

The Group Tennis Class Schedule at the Chinese Swimming Club (CSC) are as follows:

Pee Wee Group Tennis Class for 3-4 Years Old Junior Tennis Players

The Pee Wee tennis program caters for the youngest of all junior tennis players and focuses on fun and games so children can in this program can associate tennis with enjoyment. The program involves eye-hand coordination games, moving and running games, and most of all, fun and play for the duration of the class. It is a good lead-in class prior to the children moving on to the Grippers program, where the children can then start learning the basics of the tennis game, for instance, forehands, backhands, volleys and serves.

Fridays: 5.00 – 6.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
Saturdays: 8.00 – 9.00 a.m.
Sundays: 6.00 – 7.00 p.m.

Grippers Group Tennis Class for 4-7 Years Old

The Grippers is where it all begins. The children junior tennis players will learn the basics of the tennis game while having loads of fun enjoying their time on court. Forehands, backhands, volleys and serves are all the basic strokes which Grippers will master. Mini tennis and plenty of tennis based games will ensure that the children will want to keep coming back for more.

Fridays: 5.00 – 6.00 p.m and 7.00 – 8.00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9.00 – 10.00 a.m.
Sundays: 5.00 – 6.00 p.m. and 6.00 – 7.00 p.m

Junior Development Tennis Classes for 7 to 14 Year Old Junior Tennis Players​

The Junior Development are designed for children that are new to the game. Learning the basic of the tennis game and mastering the basic strokes. 

Sundays: 4.30 – 6.00 p.m. 

Junior Level 1 Group Tennis Classes for 7 to 14 Year Old Junior Tennis Players

Junior Level 1 will take the children’s to the next level. Junior tennis players with some playing experience will fit well here. All stokes of tennis will be covered, with the drills becoming more movement orientated and the games leading towards more tennis point play. This is where the children begin to get into the real game.

Fridays: 4.30 – 6.00 p.m. and 6.00 – 7.30 p.m.
Saturdays: 8.00 – 9.30 a.m.
Sundays: 3.00 – 4.30 p.m. and 4.30 – 6.00 p.m. and 6.00 – 7.30 p.m.

Junior Level 2 Group Tennis Classes for 7 to 14 Year Old Junior Tennis Players

Junior tennis players with a good knowledge of the game will look to Junior Level 2 for a more serious playing environment. Some aspects of the course include directional hitting, smashes, serving, point play and physical fitness.

Fridays: 7.30 – 9.00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9.30 – 11.00 a.m.
Sundays: 3.00 – 4.30 p.m.

Junior Level 3 Group Tennis Classes for 7 to 14 Year Old Junior Tennis Players

Junior Levels 3 is where the junior players can develop into serious tennis players or competitive tennis players. The holistic approach to training will allow Juniors to take their game play to an even higher level, with drilling and focus not only on game strokes, game play, but also on game strategy and physical fitness.
