We are thrilled to announce a significant new partnership between TAG International and Sanwa X Tennis Academy, a distinctive tennis institution based right here in Singapore. This collaboration underscores our commitment to fostering global tennis talent and expanding our reach within the vibrant Asian tennis landscape, recognising the diverse communities that thrive within it.
For players, it opens up opportunities that did not exist before: shared training sessions, friendly competitions and coaching workshops that put TAG students and coaches alongside coaches who have worked at the top of the professional game in Japan.
Expanded Local & Regional Reach
This partnership allows us to better connect with and serve the Japanese tennis community in Singapore, deepening our footprint within the local tennis ecosystem.
It also widens the map for both academies. TAG families gain a route into Japanese coaching methods without leaving Singapore, and Sanwa X players gain access to TAG coaches and courts across the island, from our courts at One-North and the ActiveSG tennis centres to indoor courts at Winchester Tennis Arena.

We will gain valuable insights into specific training methodologies and developmental approaches utilised by Japanese coaches, enriching our own coaching staff’s expertise and offering our players a unique perspective on technique and mental conditioning.
In our coaches’ experience, the Japanese development model puts unusual patience into technical foundations, footwork and mental discipline. Those are the areas where junior players most often plateau, and they are the part of this exchange our own staff are most interested in.
