In preparing for a tournament, ideally speaking, you should have a 3 week periodization program. The first week is usually focused on technical drills to iron out your technique with high intensitiy physical conditioning drills to raise your tennis fitness level. The second week is typically focused on continuation of physication conditioning drills, but instead of focusing on the technical, the drills have a tactical focus instead. And finally in the third week, the focus is typically on a lot of live ball hitting and tennis matchplay, in preparation for the tournament. In this regard, TAG International Tennis Academy has a hitting partner and tennis matchplay program to help you peak for your tournaments.

At TAG International Tennis Academy, we have a hitting partner program for our competitive tennis player. This involves entire sessions of live hitting – cross courts, down-the-line, two-on-ones, simulated points from the four opening situations, tennis matchplay, and pre-match warm-up on matchday.

These sessions are charged at the same rate as regular private tennis lessons even though they are much more demanding on the coaches, and it is the most ideal way for the competitive players to prepare for their upcoming Junior Age Group, Intermediates, Opens, ATF and ITFS, Futures, Challengers, and even the WTA World Tour Finals! TAG International Tennis Academy has several Singapore Open Champions in Tan Xu Teng, Rocky Paglalunan, Bo Alburo Lourelu, Israel Abarquez, Peter Egos, Dave Regencia and Parek Pratim. TAG International also has 35+ Men’s Champions Coach Michael Mantua and Coach Jeremy Maniago.
